Job Description

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Site Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting activities of construction projects, ensuring accurate financial records, proper cost control, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting transactions at the project site.
Control and reconcile site petty cash and employee/project advances.
Review supplier, subcontractor, and service invoices and supporting documents.
Follow up on subcontractor accounts, payments, and financial claims.
Monitor project expenses and support project cost control.
Prepare regular site financial reports and expense summaries.
Coordinate with the project team and Head Office Finance Department.
Review site payroll, labor payments, and timesheets when required.
Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and recorded.
Assist with monthly closing and account reconciliations.
Maintain organized financial records for audit purposes.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, must be in construction/contracting.
Strong knowledge of site accounting and project cost control.
Experience with suppliers, subcontractors, petty cash, advances, and invoices.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong Excel skills.
Experience with ERP/accounting systems is preferred.
Good communication and coordination skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment.
