Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Design & Development Engineer to work remotely on developing innovative metal products for public facilities and commercial projects.The candidate will be responsible for transforming product ideas into manufacturing-ready engineering files.

Responsibilities:* Design products using SolidWorks.

  • Develop 3D models and engineering drawings.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Design products suitable for sheet metal, stainless steel and powder-coated steel manufacturing.
  • Develop new products and improve existing designs.
  • Prepare manufacturing-ready files for production.

Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product design and development.
  • Excellent SolidWorks skills.
  • Strong experience in Sheet Metal Design.
  • Experience in manufacturing and metal fabrication.
  • Ability to prepare complete manufacturing drawings and BOM.
  • Experience in stainless steel and powder-coated products is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely on a part-time basis.Preferred experience in designing:* Outdoor Furniture.
  • Utility Cabinets.
  • Waste Management Products.
  • Housekeeping Products.
  • Architectural Metal Products.
  • Stainless Steel Products.Candidates with a portfolio of previous product designs will be given preference.
