Key Responsibilities:Operational Management: Direct daily vessel operations, including scheduling, voyage planning, and logistical coordination for guests and staff.Maintenance & Technical Oversight: Ensure the vessel is clean, fueled, and fully operational by scheduling, managing, and executing maintenance tasks and repairs.Staff Management & Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise crew members, including relief skippers and first mates.Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, maritime laws, and vessel insurance requirements, including maintaining an up-to-date risk register.Guest Services & Club Management: In a boat club setting, this involves managing memberships, ensuring boats are ready for members, and ensuring high-level hospitality.Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, approve invoices, track costs, and optimize cost-efficiency for operations and maintenance.
