Job Description

Oversee and manage all financial transactions related to fixed assets (additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation).
Maintain and continuously update the official Fixed Asset Register (FAR).
Organize and execute periodic and annual physical inventory counts of fixed assets, reconciling physical counts with General Ledger accounts.
Calculate and post monthly and yearly depreciation expenses in accordance with approved accounting standards.
Prepare asset valuation schedules and impairment test reports while coordinating with internal and external auditors.
Track fixed asset movements across plants and departments, ensuring proper documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in fixed assets or financial accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience using Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP, such as Odoo ).
In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (specifically IAS 16
Property, Plant, and Equipment).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
High attention to detail, strong reconciliation skills, and analytical thinking.
