Senior Electrical Installations Engineer

Adheres to project drawings, specifications and installation instructions for all electrical works.Provides technical assistance and keeps the site Quality Control records coordinator informed on matters relating to Quality Control.Files and monitors test data and resolves any test problems with the Electrical Installation team & contractors / subcontractors.Checks and reviews the physical progress for the invoices of installations & contractors / subcontractors for electrical works related items or materials.Inspects and monitors electrical operations for Quality Control and completes the final check out of equipment and wiring circuits prior to turnover to customers (Main contractor).Checks and signs material issue vouchers purchase requisition for electrical materials.Assists the site project planner in verifying and updating the electrical installations detailed schedules.Checks and reviews on weekly basis the electrical materials physical progress.Monitors the mark-up for the electrical installation’s drawings required for developing the as-built drawings.Establishes with the customers practices on testing and turnover of the various systems and assists in securing the necessary customers acceptance documentation for record.Sets up good safety practices and client requirements for maintaining workers safety on electrical circuits.Witnesses megger and circuit checks as required and maintains check out records.Ensures the full implementation of the Company manuals, procedures, departmental work instructions, and design guides in accordance with the requirements of the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.

B.Sc. in electrical / communication engineering with minimum eight years of job relevant experience including experience in electrical installations in the field of oil and gas.
