Job Description

Lead the electrical design of railway HVAC units and associated electrical systems.Develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, terminal plans, cable schedules, and panel layouts using EPLAN Electric P

8.Design low-voltage electrical panels including:Power distribution panelsControl panelsMotor Control Centers (MCC)HVAC control cabinetsAuxiliary electrical cabinetsPerform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, short-circuit calculations, and protection coordination.Prepare electrical Bills of Materials (BOMs), cable lists, terminal lists, and component specifications.Design PLC-based control systems for railway HVAC equipment and auxiliary systems.Design wiring harnesses for railway vehicles and HVAC equipment.Design low-voltage electrical panels according to IEC standards.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.8–12 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within:Railway rolling stockRailway HVAC systemsIndustrial automationLow-voltage electrical panel manufacturingProven experience delivering complete electrical design packages.Technical SkillsSoftwareEPLAN Electric P8 (Expert)AutoCAD ElectricalMicrosoft OfficeERP/PLM systems (SAP, Oracle, Windchill, Teamcenter or equivalent)Design ExpertiseElectrical schematicsPanel designWiring diagramsControl systemsPower distributionCable routingHVAC electrical systemsElectrical calculationsComponent selectionPLC integrationSoftware
