Procurement Section Head Engineer

A leading construction and finishing company is looking to hire an experienced Procurement Section Head to lead and manage all procurement activities across the company’s projects.The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of construction materials, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively to ensure timely and cost-efficient procurement.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and company objectives.Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best commercial and technical offers.Review material specifications, quotations, and technical submittals with high accuracy.Maintain and continuously update the approved vendor list.Coordinate closely with the Technical Office, Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Finance Department.Issue purchase orders and supplier contracts while ensuring proper documentation.Prepare periodic procurement and cost analysis reports for management.Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and potential supply risks.Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and quality standards.Follow up on deliveries and resolve any supply chain or logistics issues promptly.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mandatory).10–15 years of experience in procurement, preferably within construction or contracting companies.Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishing items, and MEP supplies.Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Leadership skills with the ability to manage procurement teams.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
