Mechanical Section Head

A leading international company in the cement industry is seeking an experienced Mechanical Section Head to join its maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities include: Promote and enforce safe work practices, ensuring that all mechanical employees and contractors fully comply with safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and company HSE standards.Ensure compliance with all mechanical maintenance procedures, evaluate their effectiveness, and recommend improvements to enhance maintenance performance and reliability.Supervise and evaluate the work performed by maintenance teams and contractors, providing the necessary technical and operational support to ensure efficient and timely execution.Ensure all equipment is properly maintained in good operating condition to meet operational and reliability requirements.Ensure the completion of mechanical maintenance activities with the highest standards of quality, safety, and effectiveness to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.Promote and enforce safe work practices, ensuring that all mechanical employees and contractors fully comply with safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and company HSE standards.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within heavy industries preferred in cement plants, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, rotating and static equipment, and shutdown management.Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance techniques.Familiarity with CMMS systems preferred SAP Plant Maintenance.Good leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
