Job Description

  • Position: Procurement & Logistics Coordinator
  • Experience Level: 1-3 Years
  • Reports to: Finance, Supporting Functions & Control Manager

The Procurement & Logistics Coordinator will provide essential support to the Supply Chain department by managing the day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.

This role focuses on ensuring that all purchase orders, shipments, and documentation are tracked and completed on time to maintain a seamless supply chain flow.

1.

Procurement

  • Create Purchase Orders (POs) and send them to suppliers.
  • Daily follow-up with suppliers on order status and delivery dates.
  • Maintain and update supplier database.

Logistics & Shipment

  • Handle Advanced Cargo Information Declaration (ACID) registration via the Nafeza portal for all inbound shipments.
  • Track all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Collect and organize shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with clearing agents and freight forwarders.
  • Minimize demurrages and logistics costs.

3.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records in ERP/Excel.
  • Prepare weekly order status and logistics reports.
  • Organize digital and physical filing systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in supply chain, procurement, or logistics.
  • Skills:
  • Strong follow-up skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Very good Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Previous experience in shipping / freight forwarding / custom clearance agencies are preferred.
  • Personal Traits: Organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
