Accountant

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Accountant with 1–3 years of progressive accounting experience and mandatory expertise in SAP.

This role is central to our finance department, responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our financial records, managing the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional who can leverage SAP to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccountant will be a key player in our daily and periodic financial operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead and execute the full cycle of month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all necessary journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting within the SAP environment

• General Ledger Management: Maintain the integrity of the General Ledger (GL), performing complex account reconciliations, and analyzing GL accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• SAP System Utilization: Serve as a power user of SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), specifically utilizing the GL, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets modules for daily transactions and reporting

• Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function, with a focus on maximizing the efficiency of SAP.
• Compliance and Audit Support: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions and controls.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
• Technical Expertise (Mandatory): Proven, in-depth experience with SAP FICO is required.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in posting, reconciling, and reporting directly from SAP modules.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
