Planning Engineer

Develop and maintain detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, covering all project phasesBreak down the scope of work into logical work packages aligned with the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)Collect weekly/monthly progress data from site and update the program accordinglyIdentify schedule deviations, slippages, and delays; analyze root causesIdentify and document delays, including EOT (Extension of Time) events.Support the preparation of delay claims under FIDIC or applicable contract conditionsConduct Impacted as Planned or Time Impact Analysis (TIA) when requiredCoordinate with procurement, engineering, and construction teams to ensure schedule alignmentParticipate in internal planning meetings and client progress meetingsLoad resources and costs onto the schedule to support EVM (Earned Value Management) reportingTrack planned vs. actual man-hours and flag variances to project management

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related fieldMinimum 3–5 years of experience in planning/project controls on construction projectsExperience on medium-to-large scale projects (infrastructure, commercial, industrial, or residential)Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory)Working knowledge of MS Project is a plus.Strong command of Microsoft Excel (S-curves, histograms, variance tracking).Familiarity with EVM concepts and metrics (SPI, CPI, EV, AC, PV)Knowledge of CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling principles
