Job Description

Lead and manage theoperation team, ensuring efficient execution of daily transportation plans.
Review daily transportation requirements received fromCustomer Serviceand ensure effective allocation of available trucks and drivers.
Optimizedriver and fleet utilizationwhile maintaining operational efficiency and service quality.
Oversee the operational management of drivers, including availability, deployment, attendance, performance, and compliance.
Establish and monitor KPIs related to driver performance, utilization, productivity, and trip execution.
Ensure the right drivers are assigned to the right trips based on operational requirements, driver availability, and equipment readiness.
Manage operational changes and unexpected situations, ensuring timely reassignment of drivers and resources.
Coordinate closely withCustomer Service, GPS Tracking, Maintenance, Ports teamsto ensure smooth trip execution.
Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities to improve fleet utilization, driver productivity, and transportation efficiency.
Handle escalated driver-related operational issues and ensure appropriate resolution.
Develop and maintain operational reports related to driver management and allocation performance.
Coach and develop the Operation team to improve performance and operational decision-making.
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

12+ years of relevant experiencein Fleet Operations, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
At least5years experience inLeadershiprole.
Strong experience inContainer Transportation / Trucking Operationsis highly preferred.
Proven experience inmanaging drivers and large driver teamswithin transportation operations.
Strong background inTrip Operation, fleet utilization, and transportation planning.
Previous experience in amanagerial rolewith responsibility for operational teams.
Strong understanding ofcontainer transportation and port-related trucking operations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Good command ofMicrosoft Exceland fleet/transportation management systems.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment and manage multiple priorities.
