Job Description

Manage and supervise the Finance & Accounting department.
Lead the accounting team and monitor performance.
Review accounting entries, reconciliations and supporting documents.
Supervise monthly closing, trial balance and financial reporting.
Prepare and review periodic financial statements and management reports.
Monitor customers, suppliers, treasury and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and monitor Cash Flow & Budget.
Improve accounting procedures and documentation cycles.
Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents.
Handle accounting and operational issues and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
10+ years of total accounting & finance experience.
3+ years in an Accounting Manager / Finance Manager or similar managerial role.
Experience in Logistics / Shipping / Freight Forwarding* is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and monthly closing.
Good knowledge of Egyptian accounting & tax regulations.
Practical experience with ERP systems — IST is preferred.

Advanced Microsoft Excel* skills.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good English communication skills.
Direct experience in Logistics / Shipping / Freight Forwarding.
Experience working with ERP-based environments.
Experience in developing financial procedures and workflows.
Experience dealing with auditors, consultants and tax authorities.
