MRP Engineer

Key Responsibilities Generate and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) reports.

Analyze production plans and forecast material requirements.

Ensure the availability of raw materials and components to meet production schedules.

Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock levels.

Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams.

Track material shortages and expedite critical items when necessary.

Review and update planning parameters, lead times, safety stock, and reorder points.

Analyze inventory performance and recommend improvements to reduce excess and obsolete stock.

Maintain accurate master data within the ERP system.

Prepare periodic planning and inventory reports for management Proven experience in the manufacturing, machinery, or steel industry

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in MRP, Production Planning, Supply Planning, or Inventory Management within a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in the manufacturing, machinery, or steel industry Strong knowledge of MRP concepts, inventory control, and production planning.

Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
