Lab Section Head

Job Summary & Main ObjectiveOversee testing and manufacturing operations within the laboratories and monitor production-related manufacturing processes.Contribute to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and product quality enhancement based on technical expertise, and prepare the necessary reports.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Quality Management Systems (QMS):Implement quality management systems for all laboratory-related activities.Ensure compliance with GMP standards and health regulations.Follow up and close corrective actions resulting from audit findings.

2.

Process & Production Quality Control:Supervise periodic product inspections and goods analysis processes.Develop control plans for inspection of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.Monitor manufacturing and packaging processes within the production laboratory.

3.

System Follow-Up:Manage and follow up on ACCESS / SAP systems.

4.

Documentation & Reporting:Maintain complete records of inspections, tests, and corrective procedures.Prepare periodic quality performance reports and submit them to senior management.

5.

Team Management:Lead and supervise technicians and quality/production specialists.Monitor timelines and evaluate team performance.

Required Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree (not a Science).Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control.Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO – GMP).Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ACCESS, and SAP systems.
