Quantity Surveying Engineer

ACO Construction is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated QS Section Head to join our Head Office team.The successful candidate will play a key role in managing all Quantity Surveying activities, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration, budgeting, forecasting, and claims management across our ongoing and upcoming construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying function across multiple projects.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Evaluate variations, claims, and subcontractor payments.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and commercial assessments for management.
• Support project teams in achieving cost efficiency and maximizing project profitability.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, variation orders, claims, and commercial management.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop QS teams while ensuring project commercial objectives are achieved.
