Sr. Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant EgyptEnglish Speaking is Mandatory

Job Summary The Accountant will manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the organization’s financial operations.

Key responsibilities include inventory-related financial activities, Egyptian payroll, VAT, withholding Tax and corporate tax compliance, along with the preparation of financial reports.

Preferred candidates have experience in Forex operations, Odoo accounting software.

Key Responsibilities Record financial transactions, including payables, receivables, and inventory adjustments.Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.Process and verify invoices, receipts, and financial documents.Track inventory transactions, reconcile accounts, and address discrepancies.Monitor inventory costs and their financial impact.Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.Process vendor payments and generate customer invoices.Manage receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.Process Egyptian payroll with accurate calculations and reporting.Prepare and file VAT and corporate tax returns in compliance with regulations.Prepare financial statements and analyze data for trends and variances.Generate inventory-related financial reports.Review expense reports, process reimbursements, and maintain audit-ready records.Ensure adherence to accounting standards and local tax laws.Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Experience in accounting, Forex operations, and Odoo software is preferred.

Familiarity with GCC region accounting practices is advantageous.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.  Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal .
