HSE Specialist

Job Purpose:Responsible for supporting on-site safety operations by carrying out inspections, monitoring work practices, and ensuring all personnel follow the company’s safety procedures and regulations.

The role focuses on hands-on site supervision to prevent accidents, enforce PPE use, and report unsafe conditions to management.Main job duties and responsibilities:Conduct daily site safety checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.Monitor workers' use of PPE and immediately correct non-compliance.Identify unsafe practices or hazardous conditions and report them to the Civil/Construction Manager.Assist in carrying out safety inductions for workers and subcontractors.Maintain records of daily safety inspections and incidents.Assist in investigating minor incidents and prepare basic incident reports.Ensure safety signs, barricades, and warning devices are in place where required.Help monitor the safe use of tools, equipment, and machinery.Support emergency preparedness activities, including drills and evacuation plans.Stop any activity that poses an immediate danger until it is made safe.Coordinate with the site first aid team when needed.Perform any additional tasks necessary to support workflow within the scope of the job's specialty.

Educational background and previous experience:

1.

Diploma or technical certificate in safety, construction, or related field.

2. 2 years of construction site experience.
