R&D Supervisor

Lead the development of tablets and capsules formulations (nutraceutical & pharmaceutical)Conduct pre-formulation studies and select appropriate excipientsOptimize manufacturing processes including blending, granulation, compression, and encapsulationScale up formulations from lab to pilot and commercial productionCollaborate with Production, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs teamsEnsure compliance with GMP, documentation, and validation requirementsPerform and supervise stability studies and product evaluationTroubleshoot formulation and process-related issues during development and productionMaintain proper documentation (batch records, development reports, SOPs)Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory updates

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related fieldExperience:Minimum 4–6 years of experience in R&D within pharmaceutical manufacturingProven hands-on experience in tablets and capsules formulation and developmentTechnical Skills:Strong knowledge of:Solid dosage forms (tablets & capsules)Granulation techniques (wet & dry)Compression and encapsulation processesExcipients functionality and compatibilityExperience with scale-up and technology transferGood understanding of GMP, validation, and regulatory requirementsSoft Skills:Strong leadership and team management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesHigh attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred:Experience in nutraceutical manufacturing is a plusFamiliarity with international regulatory guidelines is an advantage
