Responsible for budgeting, cost management, performance evaluation and asset management within the company.
Construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system.
Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
Coordinatephysical inventory countsandcycle counts.
Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues.
Updatestandard costsin thebill of materials.
Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
Validate thecost of goods soldas part of the month-end close.
Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures.
Control over warehouses balances.
Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting.
Prepares estimates of new and proposed product cost.
Manage local inventory (stock) process.
Keep updated inventory records on daily basis in ERP systems including daily transactions.
Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly strict closing deadlines..
Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profit while ensuring competitive pricing
Prepare pricing reports and analyses
Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
Monitor and update pricing as needed to reflect changes in the market
